Toni Elias won again for Yoshimura Suzuki at the weekend’s second round of the MotoAmerica championship, winning race two at the Circuit of the Americas to give him three wins from four races in 2018.
Leading from pole, Elias was dominant, and now heads the championship by 17 points. The Spaniard also finished fourth in a wet race one.

He said, “I had a great feeling with the bike. I was able to build a strong lead and control race two.”
“In Saturday’s race, with the wet and slippery conditions, I decided to play it smart and ride for the points. In the sunshine I felt we would be much stronger and this was the case. Now I look forward to VIR in a couple of weeks. I’m sure it will be a great battle.”
